God eating - chocolate sigils

So this was the final version of the chocolate sigil right before I charged and consumed it. It is actually 3 layers. Planetary sigil, chocolate bar and planetary square.

I had planned to do it this morning with the appropriate planetary hour, but the universe just sort of aligned that I did it tonight. Honestly I will have to look up what hour it was actually worked. I was going on hamster prompts and the stars were just where they needed to be.

(EDITED NOTE: WHEN I LOOKED IT UP IT ACTUALLY WAS THE LAST MERCURY OF MERCURY HOUR. THE MOON WAS VOID OF COURSE UNTIL 1 PM TODAY SO THIS WAS THE ONLY OPTION IF I HAD ACTUALLY PLANNED IT OUT. WHO KNEW??? HAMSTER IS GOOD HAMSTER IS WISE... HE ALSO HAS ONE SPIFFY DAY PLANNER...)

So the process actually started last night. I had purchased rice paper from a local store but it was the wrong type. My image was of the easily melting type. This was more of a" in desperate need to be deep fried" wrapper. When I went to break off a piece it sent chard's of sharp starch, with the tensile strength of steel, flying all over the kitchen. I scratched it off the list and formulated plan C.

C for Calculus.

I opened the chocolate bar and it immediately broke into an almost perfect square. Useful very useful. Then I took an orange pen and drew the squares on the chocolate. It was not going to be feasible to make out all the numbers. So I printed the square on regular paper.

Note:
Here is where it got interesting. I realized that in order for this to work I was going to have to eat the paper with the markers on it. Not the most tasty thought but since I am not a good cook it really wasn't that bad.

I printed the square and was encouraged by my dear Frater POS to add up each of the lines since "GD likes to put in weird blinds". I did so and the did indeed add up to 260 which moved neatly to 8. Chokmah and Tipetherh moved to Hod. Yeah that worked for me. Form and the Sun give me Splendor. The metaphor was starting to work. I started by outlining the square in orange. Then I traced over each of the numbers in order making sure that they were all there. It was a good point to meditate and focus on the purpose. When I completed the 64th number, I drew in the lines. Then I colored in the rest of the square to a homogeneous orange. At this point I traced the planetary intelligence and spirit sigils on the square. Symbols are alive on the astral and this was important.

A while ago I had made a complete set of shrinky dink planetary sigils. Anyone who had been over to the house has seen them hanging from the ceiling fan. I removed the orange octagon with the mercury symbol and placed the the chocolate bar on it. Then I pressed in the colored square on to the bar. Because it is warm here the two hermetically sealed instantly.

I headed out to the grove with a collection of tools. Appropriate attire, druid wand and cup of water from my altar. Ever since the Gnostic Mass Cake of Light incident I keep water around in case of need.

After opening and banishing, I charged the talisman and did an invocation of the planetary intelligence Tiriel. Since I had the Mercury talisman already, the invocation of Mercury was much more functional. Earlier in the day I had been working with mineral mercury - Cinnabar - and the vibratory connection was quite strong. I can still see it in my minds eye. I did a modified version of Will ( the Thelemic prayer for eating) with my statement of intent and consumed the chocolate/paper/ square/ sigil (s). I consumed water and closed.

God eating is not new. Consuming a talisman of chocolate is just one small spin on the process.

It is funny I have been craving chocolate all week and now that desire is gone. Curiouser and curiouser. Since I did this late at night I am unfortunately wide awake. Slight technical challenge. Oh well.

So far so good. I will post more as it becomes available.

Actually, I think the Hamster was humming "a spoonful of sugar makes the medicine go down" from Mary Poppins :) The paper was not tasty but it was edible. Growing up my father thought it important to point out difference at every turn.
