Saint Expedite

So a while back it seemed like the 4th dimmension, time, had just freaked out and piled everything on at once. If it could go wrong financially it was and in a hurry. I have always been a very independent and self sufficient sort of gal, but every ounce of me was being tested and I was none too pleased about the situation.

I was contemplating my magickal and mundance options when a friend suggested trying to petition Saint Expedite for help. He is a tried and true aid to those in desperate need. The more desperate the better it seems. In what can only be called magickal first aid (OK maybe CPR) I found a site and a picture. It called for, of all things, an upside down picture of the Saint and offering of pound cake and pennies. I was in!

So I went to the local supermarket to pick up pound cake. If you have had my cooking you will know why I needed outside help. While there it "occured" to me (please read hamster kick) that I had carelessly scrawled my evil daimons name on a piece of paper a few days before all of this went south. Ooops. That needed to be dealt with quickly and it just so happened that I had some Asofeditia lying around (don't ask...). I stuck the paper in there when I got home and immediately breathed a bit easier.

Then I went to work laying out the offering and gathering tools. I was very specific in my charge but did not micromanage the Saint. They tend to work better in a frame work than in the land of micromanagment. Within a few days the situation had gone from horrific to tolerable. Within a few weeks it had completely turned around. The specifics of the charge were not carried out to the letter of the charge, but the intent was more than exceeded. It will take some work on my part but it is all looking bright and shiny.

So to that end:

THANK YOU SAINT EXPEDITE FOR ALL THAT YOU HAVE DONE AND ARE DOING! IT IS GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!

Also to any and all who are in an immediate bind I highly recommend looking up Saint Expedite. He works miracles - when you really need them.

Of course now I have no idea what to do with the pound cake ...

I am sure that something will come to me.

Throw the cake (and pennies) away if St. E. is done with it. You can brown bag it and toss it in the trash.

Or feed some birds or fish with the pound cake, and give the pennies away...

Thank you my friends, all good thoughts! I am sure that my bird friends will enjoy the offerings!
